Stop Hunger Now
Working with Mayfield Central High School, the Mayfield Central Presbyterian Church will have a "Stop Hunger Now" program in April. Ten thousand meals will be prepared in 90 minutes. The church will need to raise 29 cents per meal before they can have a workday. A jar for donations is in fellowship hall. Give generously.
Mardi Gras Sunday
Members of Mayfield Central Presbyterian Church put on their beaded necklaces, Sun. Feb. 26, and ate Jambalaya in celebration of Mardi Gras, an event that the church has celebrated for over 20 years.
For many years, church members have celebrated Mardi Gras - a fun get together before Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent. Members enjoyed King cake and one lucky one may have discovered "The Baby" baked in the cake. Sharon Brower hosted the event.

Long-time friend and church member Irene White celebrated her 90th birthday with friends and family at church, Feb. 19.

Long-time friend and church member Thelma Childs celebrated her 93th birthday on Groundhog Day, Feb. 2.
Souper Bowl of Caring Sunday
During coffee hour, church members enjoyed some homemade soup on Sun. Feb. 5, and made donations that supports the church's food pantry that is reported to the national organization. The church has taken part in the Souper Bowl for over 10 year.
